Key Responsibilities – Retail Administration & Stock Control

Store Administration & Reporting

  • Assist the Store Manager with stock takes and retail administration
  • Monitor stock movement and inventory levels
  • Analyse store turnover and stock performance reports
  • Maintain accurate store filing systems
  • Ensure compliance with retail systems and reporting procedures

Stock Loss Prevention & Risk Management

  • Implement shrinkage control measures
  • Follow retail risk management procedures
  • Maintain store safety and security compliance

Cash Handling & POS Management

  • Monitor cash and transactional activities
  • Process customer transactions using POS system
  • Ensure accuracy in retail financial processes

Customer Service & Sales Performance

  • Deliver professional customer service
  • Identify customer needs and improve shopping experience
  • Promote loyalty and cash reward programmes
  • Support visual merchandising standards
  • Achieve store sales targets
  • Stay updated with fashion retail trends

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Minimum 3 years retail or admin experience
  • Experience in stock control and POS systems
  • Computer literate
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work retail shifts
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
