Job Overview
PEP is looking for a motivated and performance-driven Store Manager to join its Northern Division – Kwena. This permanent role is ideal for a retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage a retail store team to achieve key business performance indicators (KPIs). This includes driving sales growth, maintaining cost efficiency, managing stock and administration, reducing risk and stock loss, and ensuring consistently high store standards aligned with the PEP brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
- Ensure effective stock management, including merchandising, replenishment, and promotional execution.
- Maintain a positive and accountable store culture that supports stock loss prevention, cash handling, and security procedures.
- Control operational costs by promoting efficiencies in line with PEP’s low-cost business culture.
- Ensure all store administration is completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Dynamos.
- Take accountability for team performance management, including goal setting and continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and store presentation at all times.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, retail management, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite, will be an advantage.
